NATIONAL PARK

The
Park enjoys a distinct reputation not only for the variety of wild species
it offers, but also for the ancient monuments that dot the park. The total
area of the park stands at 1,334 sq. km and offers the best of wildlife
experience. The terrain of the park is rugged and covered with hills, rocky
ridges and open valleys with lakes and pools.
Park Population : Tigers are the
major attraction of the park and due to the growing awareness and
conservation efforts, they have grown in numbers over the years. The lakes
and water holes in the park are the best places to sight various animals
including Sloth Bear, Wild Boar, Chinkara, Porcupines, Jackals, Leopard,
Jungle Cat and Marsh Crocodile. Countless species of birds including Indian
Hare, Mongoose and Monitor Lizards can also spotted in the park.
Best Time To Visit : The best season to visit the
park stretches from November to March when most of the animals can easily be
spotted.
